EFOY ProShelter Hybrid features:

The purpose-built EFOY ProShelter integrates EFOY Fuel Cells together with methanol fuel cartridges and solar and/or wind power generation, working together to maintain a common battery bank which feeds customer loads through the power distribution panel. Space is also available for integrating customer equipment, ensuring you have a drop deployable solution within a single insulated C-can enclosure optimized for ultra-reliable performance in the harshest weather conditions.


This eco-friendly power solution is designed and certified for operation down to -40° C and can be remotely monitored and controlled through Modbus or via our EFOY Cloud platform.


EFOY ProShelter Hybrid systems are designed to provide 12-24 months of energy autonomy as required by the specific application.


EFOY ProShelter Hybrid technology:

  • EFOY Fuel Cells convert methanol into electricity through a single-stage catalytic conversion process. They continuously and automatically recharge batteries.
  • When a solar array fails to deliver enough power, the EFOY(s) automatically switches on to ensure the battery bank is charged. Once completed, the fuel cell(s) returns to standby mode.
  • EFOY Pro Fuel Cells support Modbus TCP or EFOY Cloud communications allowing operators to monitor and control the system remotely.
